2009 Navajo Mission

In July 2009, seven people from Arkport United Methodist Church will be joining a large and diverse team to help out our brothers and sisters in the Navajo Nation. We will be traveling to Ojo Amarillo, New Mexico, to help construct a parsonage. We will also be having a Vacation Bible School for the area children.

The Navajo Nation is our largest Native American reservation (26,000 square miles). Our team is working with Four Corners Native American Ministires, which has helped establish over twenty churches all over the Nation in the past twenty-five years. They also help raise up and train Navajo pastors to serve the people.
